The new technology of reception casts cylinder liner ship's diesel engines is considered. Conclusions about possibility of introduction of technology of reception casts cylinder liner are resulted by centrifugal mode.

The technology of maintenance of wear resistance of cylindrical surfaces of friction on the basis combination of methods of drawing nitride - titanic coatings and the subsequent electromechanical processing is considered. Coefficients in kinetic model of wear process are found and comparative tests with various technological methods of processing are carried out.

Experience of test and parametric computations of turbulent transonic flows through turbine blade rows.We present the results of methodical, test, and parametric computations that demonstrate a real possibility of correct numerical simulation of turbulent gas flows through turbine blade rows on the base of the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations. Transonic flows through a row of airfoils are computed in the framework of 2D steady-state formulation using a general purpose CFD code under real flow conditions. The loss coefficient, the flow angle, the blade loads and torque are evaluated from the flow fields obtained.

The paper presents à mathematical model of working fluid flow in moving metal-metal seals taking into account the 3D surface’s topography. The model is based on the Reynolds equation. The Reynolds equation is solved by the finite element method. The influence of the surface`s topography on leakage is characterized by the flow factors. An equation for calculation of leakage in moving seals is given.
