Dmitriyevsky Ye.V. Investigation of Influence of Geometrical and Adjusting Parameters on the Rotor Engine Power
It has been determined that diagnostic variables which have an effect on the rotor-piston engine power Ne are the geometrical one (coefficient of inflation ηv) and the adjusting one (coefficient of air excess α). According to the mathematical model of the rotor engine, by the method of multiple regressive analysis, based on the use of the method of the least squares and on the matrix approach to the calculation of coefficients of the polynomial model, an equation has been obtained which properly describes the dependence of its power Ne on the combination of two independent diagnostic variables: ηv and α.

Evelson L.I., Ryzhikova E.G. Numerical method of optimization based on computer exper-iment planning
The computer experiment methods are presented. Departure from traditional assumptions of regression analysis is taken into account: a big difference between real and Gauss statistical distribution, presence of inadmissible design matrix points and the points with a great amount of quasi-intolerable simulation runs including cases with only permissible run. Modification of optimization (with restrictions) numerical method is proposed. The method includes development and analysis of quadratic regression function. Effectiveness of the modified method for situations with inadmissible points and simulation runs is corroborated by results of the model problem solution connected with optimization of industrial process parameters

Zhizhkina N.A., Ipatov S.A. The Study of Qualities’ Specialties of Cast Iron’s with Different Composition.
The paper has been devoted to study of white, chilled and gray cast iron. It has been showed that white cast irons’ ingots are characterized by high level of properties. What is why such materials are used at high temperature and wear condition. Carbides’ and granites existence in the structure increase properties of chilled cast iron. Such cast irons are used for details of metallurgical and other branches of industry. Flake graphite in structure of cast iron decreases level of analyzed properties. But ingots of such cast iron showed high values of tensile strength on compression.

Sakalo V.I., Sakalo A.V. Penetration factor of the surfaces in fast algorithm of solution of contact problems for wheel and rail.
Values of penetration factor of wheel and rail surfaces that is used on application of fast algorithm for solution of normal contact problems are defined. Three cases had been considered: contact area has not strongly expressed spatial character; contact patch is situated nearby middle of rail rolling surface, radii of curvature of wheel and rail profiles have close values; contact patch is situated on fillet sections of the profiles.
