CHOICE OF BELT CONVEYER DRICE CIRCUIT USING FUZZY
VALUES OF CRITERIA
The problem of optimum circuit choice for a belt conveyer with the use of fuzzy values of economic criteria is considered. The optimized parameter is a number of drive units, their power and places of instal-lation. The requirements of the technical specification are assumed as limitations.
There is offered a complex of economic criteria having a single unit of measurement. To define relative absolute values of criteria there are used experts’ fuzzy estimates presented as fuzzy numbers with the tapered membership function.
The efficiency index of the drive circuit as a boundary value of a-section of fuzzy numbers sum is offered. Inasmuch as the efficiency index has a nega-tive sense, then the optimum circuit is defined on the basis of minimax approach.
The example of a fuzzy choice of the drive op-timum circuit of five alternatives with the use of six criteria is considered

ACOUSTIC SAFETY SUPPORT AT MACHINING FLAT
PARTS WITH BALL-ROD HARDENER
On the result basis of theoretical and experi-mental investigations there is developed a procedure for noise and vibration decrease according to the sani-tary code at machining with a ball-rod hardener (BRH) of beam-type blank flat surfaces at the assurance of specified quality parameters of a surface layer. There are obtained theoretical models allowing the fulfillment of the assessment of noise scopes at ball-rod hardening. An engineering procedure is developed for designing devices for the active and passive noise-suppressing in the operator’s working area allowing the noise decrease up to standard values. The regularities of the impact of blank design parameters, devices and technological modes of processing upon sound pressure levels in the operator’s working area are defined. On the basis of the obtained models of noise formation there is developed an engineering procedure for the computation of sound pressure scopes at processing with BRH which is confirmed by experimental investigations. A theoretical model of a roughness formation process on the part under machining taking into account BRH design properties, technological modes and physical and mechanical properties of material of parts under machining is developed. Basic regularities in the hardening parameter formation of a surface layer of the parts under machining are defined. ESTIMATE OF FRICTION PAIR RUNNING-IN DURATION WITH SOLID LUBRICANT
COATING UNDER DIFFERENT OPERATING CONDITIONS
As a result of planned experimental investiga-tions there are calculated polynomial models of the 2-d order for the estimate of the duration of friction pair running-in with solid lubricant coatings (SLC) VNII NP 212 for the conditions of vacuum and normal envi-ronment. The correlation dependence between a run-ning-in duration and a general operating time of the friction mating under consideration is defined. The most substantial factor of a slip velocity influencing most upon running-in duration both under conditions of common environment, and in vacuum is revealed. It is defined that running-in duration exceeds in vacuum 7-11 times similar tribotechnical index for conditions of common environment

CHARACTER CHANGES OF FRICTION SELF-OSCILLATIONS
AT SLIP VELOCITY INCREASE
To solve problems of engineering system dura-bility increase the investigations of changes in friction self-oscillation character at varying a velocity of inter-acting materials relative displacement are of considera-ble scientific and practical interest. As N.A. Kai-danovsky defined experimentally self-oscillations dis-appear at obtaining a critical speed of relative dis-placement. The paper reports the analysis of the au-thors’ models of mechanical system self-oscillations under different conditions of loading.
A simulator of friction self-oscillations is formed by the authors by the example of a mechanical system (example of Van der Paul). A function defining the dependence of friction force upon the velocity relative displacement of interacting materials is specified in the model as a kinetic equation of adhesion setting as topo-chemical kinetics of formation and destruction of “welding bridges” in the area of the material contact.

EQUIPMENT FOR WASHING BULK MATERIAL AND ABRASIVE MEDIA WITH AMPLITUDE EXCEEDING 500 mm
The paper reports the results of the long-term scientific work in the field of the development of ma-chines, devices for washing bulk material and abrasive media with the aid of making their motion exceeding 500m. The classification of such machines and equip-ment is offered in which helical units based on helical and combined drums are used.
The procedure for equipment computation is developed and the computation example of the ma-chine for washing bulk material and abrasive media with the productivity of 10.000 kg/h is shown.
A possibility for the transport and engineering processes integration in helical units is obtained at the expense of the formation along their perimeter helical lines and surfaces both unidirectional and mutually opposite to each other and to fulcrum pins of helical units. Their combination allows forming and fulfilling the particles oscillation of bulk material and abrasive media with the high amplitude of motion (more than 500mm) and also controlling them reducing or increas-ing at that technological and transport motions.
The works carried out on the creation of innovation equipment for washing bulk materials and abrasive media allow producing machines, units and equipment for finishing and hardening machine parts

IDENTIFICATION AND ESTIMATE OF ACOUSTIC SIGNAL PARAMETERS
IN TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS OF AUDIOEXCHANGE
In the paper problems of the formation of sta-tionary signal models by linear systems with constant parameters and non-linear systems described by the functional row of the second and third orders are under investigations. The object of investigation is stationary and transient processes and their statistic characteris-tics. The purpose of the work is the formation of meth-ods of identification and estimates parameters of the process describing an acoustic signal in the systems of telecommunications.
In the work it is shown that as forming models of stationary signals the linear systems with constant parameters and Wolter non-linear systems can find application. A method of least-squares is also a wide-spread means for system identification. In this sense its applications at the identification of the acoustic signal dynamic model describe with differential and differ-ence equations seem to be natural. If we assume that, for instance, a room in which can spread an acoustic signal is characterized with a certain number of modes of oscillations and resonance frequencies, then the problem of identification will consist, in particular, in the assessment of the number and parameters of these modes. It is also shown that a transient character of a signal may have a different description as a mathematical expectation changing in time, dispersion or frequency, and in a general case, may be presented as a system with varying parameters. The equations obtained in this work solve, in general, the problem of the model parameter identification of a transient signal with the average value variable in time and dispersion

ACTIVATED VOLLASTONITE IMPACT UPON COMPRESSION STRENGTH
AND ELASTICITY COEFFICIENT OF EPOXIDE MATERIALS
FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
TThe impact of natural vollastonite of different dispersion degree upon compression strength and an elasticity coefficient of epoxy materials of cold curing with aminophenol AF-2 is investigated. The impact of the activation of vollastonite surface (AVS) with different chemical structure upon these operational characteristics is shown. It is defined that filling with natural vollastonite increases an elasticity coefficient of epoxy materials, but decreases their strength characteristics at compression. At the same time the surface activation of this filling compound with quaternary ammonium salts irrespective of their structure reduces an elasticity coefficient, but increases considerably epoxy material strength at compression. The vinylsilane application as AVS does not give such an evident effect of changing the values described

EXPERIMENTAL AND COMPUTATION INVESTIGATIONS OF STRESS STATE IMPACT UPON BABBIT LAYER FATIGUE LIFE OF SLIDER BEARING
The procedure and results of fatigue tests of bearing–samples with a babbit layer at varying a stressed state kind on a large scale are presented. To explain some not so evident results (orientation in a layer of arising micro-cracks) there are formed 3D models and computations of stresses in the layer in elastoplastic setting are carried out. For this purpose there is described a simulation of babbit elastoplastic properties taking into account a multi-axial stressed state. The application of the criteria of stressed states equivalence is analyzed and a generalized diagram of babbit elastoplastic deformation is shown. From the analysis of patterns of stresses in a babbit layer the explanation of cracks locations from single positions of the theory of fatigue crack development is found. The work results will be used in the computations directed to the life increase of machine bearings
